Optus has served up a free fixed-line broadband offer to customers that sign up to selected mobile or home phone plans.
Consumers that sign onto the telco’s $89 Timeless mobile plan or $59.95 Home Advantage plan on a 24 month will get 50GB of free home broadband per month.
According to Optus, this is the first of a series of planned initiatives from the telco to let customers know they are being looked after.
The $89 Timeless plan includes unlimited standard calls and texts while the $59.95 Home Advantage plan provides unlimited standard, loca, national and 13/1300 calls from a fixed-line.
It is worth mentioning Optus carries Fusion plans, which combine home phone and a 120GB data per month broadband for $79. Consumers that do not want to spend a large sum of money on their mobile or home phone service alone may find the Fusion plans more appealing.
