“We started looking at the Sophos products from a distribution point from last year and began working with them to bring more product sets to our resellers,” Connector Systems general manager for security and telecommunications, Kevin Swainson, said.
As part of the partnership, Connector Systems will take to market Sophos’ entire range of solutions, including endpoint security, encryption, and data loss prevention (DLP), Web and email protection, mobile control, and network security and unified threat management (UTM).
Sophos chose Connector Systems due to its reputation in NZ, alongside its 30 years’ experience in IT software distribution and more than 1000 active channel partners, according to Sophos APAC managing director, Stuart Fisher.
The company will be able to take advantage of Connector Systems’ local presence, and thus use the distributor as a gateway to NZ customers to extend market reach and increase growth.
Connector Systems will be providing direct localised support for resellers, alongside technical based training to educate the network, according to Swainson.
