The first phase of the project saw Nextgen running its business on open, standards-based and integrated solutions. The process for both Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 and CRM On Demand went live within six weeks.
Phase two, which is scheduled to commence shortly, will see the implementation of Oracle Fusion Middleware as to integrate all aspects of the solution.
Nextgen has been implementing the system with OPN Gold level members, Dataweave for the E-Business Suite and CrmNow for CRM On Demand.
Nextgen selected Oracle for best practice business processes, ease of integration with the Database Appliance, competitive pricing, and speed of implementation.
“We are a new business and we needed a major and robust ERP system that will scale for growth, easily change and adapt as we grow but that is also cost effective from a maintenance perspective,” Nextgen managing director, John Walters, said.
