KAZ wins services deal with agricultural concern

IT services giant KAZ Computer Systems has won a five-year contract with Melbourne-based fertiliser supplier and logistics company Pivot for facilities management.

Pivot supplies nutrient manufacturing, grain trading and stock feeding to the agricultural industry.

Under the agreement, KAZ will provide 24x7 outsourced management and technical support of Pivot's IT infrastructure, which will cover help desk, desktop and remote site support, LAN, WAN and disaster recovery.

Both companies would only reveal that the deal was a multimillion-dollar agreement, saying it was "commercial in confidence".
