Telstra has signed an exclusive partnership with subscription music service, MOG, to bring Australians unlimited on-demand access to music streaming.
Scheduled to launch in “coming months”, the partnership will give Australians the ability to download the MOG app on their smartphone/tablet or login to their account via a PC to receive ad-free music, streamed at 320kbps.
As part of the service, users will be able to take advantage of unlimited downloads, MOG personalised radio, personalised recommendations based on preferences.
“The number of subscribers to mobile music streaming services is expected to approach 161 million worldwide by 2016, and Australians will become a part of the music revolution with this deal,” Telstra executive director of media, application and user experience, J.B. Rousselot, said.
The service will be available to all Australians regardless of network.
