iiNet speeds up broadband service transfer process

Consumers can now move from their current ISP to iiNet in just a couple of hours.

iiNet has reduced the time it takes to for a customer to transfer an ADSL service over from a competitor.

Switching ISPs can sometimes be a headache for customers as the time it takes to transfer a broadband service from one carrier to another can take from a few days to a fortnight. Occasionally, there is a period where a customer may be left with no Internet service during the transfer process.

iiNet is boasting it can reduce the downtime for customers when they transfer their broadband service over to the ISP to just a couple of hours.

This also applies to existing customers that want to switch from their iiNet ADSL2+ service to a Naked DSL service.

“With such a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, this will contribute significantly to improved service levels across the whole industry,” iiNet CEO, Michael Malone, said in a statement.
