O'Donnell to raise company profile, Brannigan to set direction for strategic marketing

Kaseya appoints O’Donnell to raise company profile

With more than 15 years of strategic marketing experience, Karen O’Donnell will be joining automated IT systems management software provider, Kaseya as A/NZ marketing director.

Based in Sydney, O’Donnell will be working towards raising the company’s profile and brand awareness, particularly within the SMB and large enterprise markets, as well as leading its A/NZ marketing group in developing partner programs and multi-touch lead generation campaigns.

“As companies in all markets grapple with IT systems management challenges, O’Donnell’s experience is highly prized and will strategically enable us to engage with our customers and partners,” Kaseya A/NZ managing director, Dermot McCann, said.

O’Donnell’s most recent role was with Juniper Networks, where she held the position of A/NZ channel and enterprise marketing manager. She was responsible for developing and driving marketing campaigns.

Additionally, O’Donnell has worked with blue chip IT organisations such as IBM, HP, and Epson, where she covered consumer, channel, and enterprise marketing.

Brannigan takes over as director of marketing for EMC Australia

EMC Australia has appointed Karinne Brannigan as director marketing for A/NZ.

Brannigan has been tasked to set the direction for the vendor’s A/NZ strategic marketing and communication program which addresses the its full portfolio of products and solutions.

“EMC has experienced significant growth in the last year, performing strongly across all business units in A/NZ, and continues to attract and retain top talent in the technology industry,” EMC Australian president, David Webster, said.

“Brannigan brings a wealth of value experience and a very strong understanding of the IT industry that will undoubtedly enrich our company.”

Her most recent role was at Symantec/Veritas, where she was head of marketing. Additionally, she has over 15 years experience in the technology industry.

Brannigan is replacing Wendy Reid, who has assumed the role of senior director of marketing for APJ.
