Network security solutions provider, Sourcefire, has launched its first channel incentive program in A/NZ.
The affinity program for company partners specifically targets sales and engineering staff.
By using a Web-based portal, partners can earn points for a variety of activities, including generating leads and closing deals. They can also get training and certification.
As part of the certification program, partners get access to an online learning management system with content from Sourcefire’s technologies and solutions.
“The goal is to ultimately get the channel partner sales force and sales engineers to get meetings for Sourcefire, to identify opportunities for us, help us close deals and get them certified on our technology,” Sourcefire senior vice-president of worldwide sales, John Negron, said.
As part of the incentive, the outstanding partners will receive points that can be accumulated and exchanged for gifts and incentive.
Points can be redeemed for merchandise including travel rewards, adventure excursions, sporting, concert and theatre events and gift cards.
The points-based rewards program can be accessed by partners with a log in at www.sourcefirerewards.com.
To join the program, partners only have to register on the website.
“Our channel partners are multi-faceted; they can be from large systems integrators to managed security service providers and all the way down to value added resellers.
"The program is really important to the principles of our channel companies that work with us,” Negron said.
