Sometimes the simplest things work best.
This is definitely how I would describe the Ikea Catalogue app.
I’m in the process of getting ready to move to a new place and have to start looking for homeware and furniture to flesh out my new space.
Rather than physically hauling my derriere to the local Ikea shop just to browse for the latest items the home products chain (which has locations that are very out of the way for somebody that doesn’t drive) I’ve been using the Ikea Catalogue app.
I simply download the latest available catalogue through app and I can flick through the pages with display items in high quality detail.
If I spot something I like, I can send the page to friends and family for their opinion via email, Facebook or Twitter.
I can also bookmark pages that interest me so I can review them later.
This isn’t the most complicated app in the world, but for somebody who is moving house or fitting out a new office, every little bit of help counts.
Pros: Small in file size, useful for homeware shopping junkies or people looking to furnish their homes, social network sharing abilities.
Verdict: The Ikea Catalogue app is a great tool and the ability to share catalogue pages through social media good for getting a second opinion before making a purchase is fantastic. Highly recommended.
