Company signs WBA after long period of consultation

ISP Adam Internet has confirmed that it has signed the Wholesale Broadband Agreement (WBA) with NBN Co, following a long period of consultation.

Adam Internet founder and executive chairman, Greg Hicks, said, “We did spend quite some time on the negotiation of a few key points, but we are now confident that the agreement enables us to roll out NBN services to customers and provide the same level of quality and value they expect from Adam Internet.”

The company was one of the few ISPs that took part in the NBN trial at the conclusion of 2011, and offered free trial services to its customers in Willunga, South Australia.

75 per cent of customers who participated in the trial have remained with the NBN service.

“The initial feedback from the trial is positive and we look forward to rolling this service out to other customers,” he said.
