IT services company Dialog Information Technology has scored a $3.5 million outsourcing contract with the Northern Territory State Government.
The deal with Territory Health Services is believed to be the largest contract issued by the NT Government for non-mainframe machines. The three-year contract will see Dialog provide managed application services such as Oracle applications maintenance, Microsoft Access and Notes development and maintenance, JADE report writing and environmental change management.
Dialog managed to outwit a number of local and multinational companies to win the bid and was selected as a standalone company rather than a consortium. The company is now included on all seven of the NT Government's non-mainframe panels.
"Within 18 months of opening our Darwin office, Dialog has successfully positioned itself as a dependable IT partner for the NT Government and commercial enterprise," said managing director Alan Key.
Dialog Information Technology is a $43 million company with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Darwin, Townsville, Rockhampton and the Gold Coast. Its services take in outsourcing and technology management, systems integration and application development, implementation, training and support.
