Logitech catches Bluetooth mouse

Bluetooth is finally making its presence felt, with Logitech announcing a new cordless presenter and optical mouse device. The controller uses the wireless Bluetooth technology for use in presentations, and converts to a cordless optical mouse with the flick of a switch. The presenter also incorporates a mini USB wireless receiver for computers that do not have Bluetooth, as well as laser pointer, forward and back buttons for Powerpoint presentations, and an LED display to show the connection status and battery meter. The device also comes with Logitech's MouseWare software to program buttons in mouse or presentation mode and is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, Me and XP.
