Dehann Browne is the new client executive for defence at IT services provider, Logica Australia.
Her appointment follows the expansion of Logica Australia’s Canberra office.
“There are at least 15 defence agencies in Australia and a number of associated suppliers which require complex and highly specific computing technology and project management expertise,” Logica Australia public sector director, Darren Covington, said.
Browne’s role will focus on supporting Logica’s expansion in the defence sector, by coordinating with the global defence team which supports clients in Europe, UK and Nordics.
She will focus on creating complex systems that are robust, yet flexible enough to meet its clients’ evolving needs.
“Some of these systems are truly mission critical and it is imperative the users are provided with the right information in a timely manner that enables them to make well informed decisions,” Browne said.
She spent 10 years as a serving military member before joining the corporate sector to work on military information systems development, integration, implementation and sustainment.
Browne completed her Masters of Business Administration (IT Management) at La Trobe University and was accredited as a Certified Practicing project Director (CPPD) by the Australian Institute of Project Management.
She will be based in the company’s Canberra office.
