Optus targets SMBs and consumers with Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Offers plans for both consumers and SMBs

Optus has partnered with Google and Samsung to offer the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on a range of pricing plans, targeted at Australian consumers and small and medium businesses (SMBs).

In the SMB space, companies can utilise Optus’ $79 Business Timeless Plan, which provides the Galaxy Nexus for $0 upfront. It includes unlimited standard national calls and texts to Australian mobile and fixed line services and 1GB of included monthly mobile internet data (minimum total cost over 24 months is $1896).

Consumers can choose from a range of value plans to suit their budgets – including a $0 upfront on a $79 Optus Cap Plan (minimum total cost over 24 month is $1896) or $5 upfront per month on a $59 Optus Cap Plan (minimum total cost over 24 month is $1536).

The Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone to be powered by the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system.

Its features also include: a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display and a 1.2 Ghz Dual Core processor.

Optus is offering its Optus Smart Safe solution, which lets users safely store and access important documents and valued content on both the Galaxy Nexus and a personal computer.

SMB customers will enjoy a 500MB Optus Smart Safe allowance with all Business Mobile Plans.
