Each year ARN recognises the personal achievements of some of the channel’s brightest personalities. Across three categories – Customer Service, Sales Excellence and Technical Excellence, this year’s finalists and winners went above and beyond to help their organisations succeed.

The hot ingredient for any successful company is its staff and recognising them for their achievements and hard work goes a long way.

NewLease partner services co-ordinator and product manager, Haseeb Jamal, has received recognition internally for his work efforts, but recently accepting the Personal Innovation Award for Customer Service at the ARN Awards, was a new step in further validating his efforts.

“To me it’s recognition of the quality of service that I offer,” Jamal said. I’ve got recognition internally from our own NewLease team, but to actually be recognised by an external organisation and partners voting for me, it’s a true recognition of the quality of service that I offer.”

Jamal has been with NewLease for the past five years, starting off as a partner services co-ordinator acting as the first point of contact for all partners and their enquiries in regards to sales, partnering opportunities and consulting. About six months ago, he moved into his new role as product manager.

He believes the type of service he offers to his partners is what keeps them coming back.

“It’s not only myself that delivers that quality of service, but everyone at NewLease together and their professional attitude help me to achieve that level of customer service,” Jamal said.

“It’s all about partners, providing them with the right information, points of contact with vendors and a timely response – that’s what puts me a part from anyone else.”

So what keeps him at NewLease? Jamal said it was a great company to work for and the management team allows workers to explore their own possibilities and freedom to achieve their full potential.

“I’m looking forward to the next couple of years and I see myself helping them to grow progressively even more in Australia and overseas,” he said.
