Anyware Computer Accessories, a Taiwanese manufacturer normally associated with system and CPU coolers, has released a silent power supply form, Just Cooler. The SP-300 uses a new design concept that changes the way a power supply is cooled. Instead of the traditional vertical fan, the new design puts the fan in a horizontal position, thus allowing additional power outlets to be added onto the back of the power supply. Up to four outlets can be added. The 300-watt power supply also comes with a 9cm fan instead of the traditional 8cm fans, and is positioned above electrical components to provide optimal cooling for internal components and a lower noise level. Anyware expects the horizontal configuration will also lead to a longer product lifespan. The SP-300 will retail for $99 and is available next month.
