Optus subsidiary Source Integrated Networks has announced an agreement with Swan SA for the distribution of Vision64 across Australia and New Zealand.
Vision64 is an enterprise management software suite used to manage internal desktop and laptop users.
Outsourced networking solutions provider Source is targeting the suite at large enterprise and is working with Sun Microsystems to enable Australian ISPs and ASPs to offer controlled mass content distribution to their customers using Vision64. Source will continue to seek reseller agreements with other local service providers.
According to Michel Arnaud, Swan SA's vice president of international business development, Source's experience with the software is primarily what earned it the contract.
"Having used Vision64 to manage desktops and servers for its own clients, Source has extensive experience in its installation and management. We believe Source will provide a very high level of service to enterprises wishing to benefit from this solution in Australia and New Zealand," Arnaud said.
Under the agreement, Source Integrated Networks joins Singapore-based Ingram Micro Asia and Japan-based Mitsui in Swan's global partner network.
