Apple has launched a black-and-white web page simply titled "Remembering Steve" that features a constantly refreshed flow of tributes sent to Apple regarding Jobs.  A couple of messages that floated by when we went to the site:

For Steve

He lives on in his products, in his company, and in the inspirational words he has given about the importance of following your passion. Great artists leave us their works, and in this way, live beyond their allotted years. Generations from now, his name will be mentioned with awe.

The greatness about Steve Jobs, is that he helped to transform science, arts and technology into products, give them lives and delivered them to us. R.I.P. Mr. Jobs.

Apple plans to close its stores for a few hours starting at 10AM pacific time Wednesday so that employees can view a webcast of a Jobs memorial taking place at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. The event is for employees to "take time to remember the incredible things Steve achieved in his life and the many ways he made our world a better place," CEO Tim Cook wrote in a company email.
