Anti-malware company, Kaspersky Lab, is offering $50,000 in cash to any new and existing partner that signs up for its K-Kash incentive program.
The K-Kash program provides resellers with discount levels of between 7.5 per cent and 15 per cent of a deal price on top of an existing margin, depending on the number of licenses sold.
According to Kaspersky A/NZ managing director, Andrew Mamonitis, the company launched the program to bring on new channel partners.
“Each partner gets their margin through their distributor. In addition to that, we will take on the extra margin – fully funded by Kaspersky,” he said.
Resellers can sign up for the program from now till October 31 and the program runs till December 31. Resellers will have until June 30 2012 to use K-Kash money.
Resellers who participate will have the offering deposited directly into their online Kaspersky Partner Rewarding System (PRS) account.
The announcement was made in conjunction with the vendor’s plans to increase its Australian market share 20 per cent in the 12 months, on the back of launching its upgraded Endpoint Protection Solution – Endpoint Security 8.0 for Windows and Kaspersky Security Centre 9.
To drive the growth, the solution presents a number of new features to keep businesses ahead of emerging threats.
“It features technologies that can help boost business performance by using the cloud to identify threats faster, virtualising computer desktops, enabling a more mobile workforce and integrating personal mobile devices into the IT network,” Mamonitis said.
Some of the new features of the suite include: enhanced protection, integration with the Cloud, application control and whitelisting, endpoint control, intelligent personal firewall and intrusion detection system and manageability, scalability and virtualisation support.
The Endpoint Protection 8.0 and Security Centre 9 will be available in Australia from October 20.
