Victorian Government opens wallet for broadband projects

Up to $6 million available

Up to $6 million worth of funding is up for grabs for successful applicants from the Victorian Government to provide innovative broadband projects.

The funding is open to Victorian-based industry bodies, local governments, business groups and Victorian Government departments.

Specifications require projects to be collaborative between organisations, promote better business links and encourage innovation across industry sectors.

Round 2 of the program will focus on productivity through service delivery transformation using high capacity broadband.

Minister for Technology, Gordon Rich-Phillips, encouraged applications from Victorian organisations that plan to enhance operations or the service they provide through innovative broadband solutions.

Expressions of interest under Round 2 of the Broadband Enabled Innovation Program (BEIP) will be accepted until November 4.
