Network monitoring and recording vendor, Endace, has appointed Matthew Moore as head of sales for Australia.
According to the company, the decision to hire a head of sales in Australia underscores the potential for further growth in the Asia-Pacific market, particularly in Australia.
Endace vice-president of sales in Asia-Pacific, Neil Templeman, said Moore’s appointment is the continuation of the company’s expansion strategy for the region.
He attributes the growth in Australia to the company's partnership with Newgen.
Moore joins Endace after three years in his previous role as Workshare Asia-Pacific regional director, where he was responsible for developing and overseeing the region.
His prior roles include: business development manager for Internet Security Systems, business development manager for Loop Technology, and security practice management for Alphawest.
In this role, Moore will concentrate on establishing the need for Endace Monitoring and Recording Fabrics amongst enterprise, telco, and government clients in the Australian market.
"With a background across a number of local organisations, Matt was the ideal choice to develop our presence in the local market. The launch of our technology into the Australian market has been a priority, and we're thrilled to take this next step," said Templeman.
Moore will be based in Sydney at Endace’s new office in North Sydney.
