Epsilon names Powers as senior vice-president and managing director

Focuses on serving a vast global client base

Multi-channel marketing services firm, Epsilon, has announced that former senior vice-president of Asia-Pacific, Dominic Powers will take on the dual role of senior vice-president of Asia-Pacific and managing director of international operations.

In this new role, he will oversee Epsilon’s operations in the Europe (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions, leading both regions in expanding the breadth and depth of Epsilon’s services in support of global and local brands.

He will also focus on constructing these relationships and creating solutions through strategic data analytics, by integrating marketing execution across touch points to grow its clients’ capability in delivering personalised, positive customer experience and growing customer loyalty.

Powers will be based in Hong Kong and continue to report to Epsilon executive vice-president of client services, Michael Lavoie, who has managed Epsilon’s EMEA operations over the last 12 months while co-managing his global leadership in client services.

According to Lavoie, Powers’ experience in international marketing strategy and execution positions Epsilon for continued global growth.

"Throughout his tenure, he has contributed to our growth and demonstrated his deep understanding of our business. His origins in the UK give him an intimate understanding of Western European culture," Lavoie said.

Powers has held various management roles within Epsilon in his 10 years in the company.

He stated that he intends to expand Epsilon’s catalogue of data-driven direct marketing service offerings in both APAC and EMEA, and bring the two regions closer together, leveraging the company’s global experiences, knowledge and best practices on how to best use data, email, database and integration of channels to increase marketing ROI for companies.

Dominic has lived, studied, and worked in various locations across Asia-Pacific since 1995.

He is currently a board member of the Hong Kong Direct Marketing Association (HKDMA) and the Asia Digital Marketing Association (ADMA). He is also a regular presenter and commentator on data-driven marketing and privacy issues throughout the region.
