The Australian channel partners of infrastructure software vendor, Novell, have had their achievements recognised at an exclusive dinner held at Wildfire restaurant the overseas passenger terminal in Sydney.
Hosted by recently promoted Attachmate APAC vice-president and general manager, Boris Ivancic, the dinner served the dual purpose of welcoming Novell’s Australian channel partners into the Attachmate channel partner community and organisation following the $2.2 billion acquisition of the networking pioneer in the middle of the year.
Novell’s channel partners were also introduced to Attachmate’s other business unit, NetIQ, and were provided with opportunity to sell and support the extended portfolio of security management solutions.
In total 32 guests from 10 partners attended the dinner, including representatives from companies such as Beachhead Group, Diaxion, Ce Tech, CSA, Directory Concepts, Globalnet Solutions Australia, Icefire Technologies, OCS, Pegasus Technology and System Craft.
Icefire Technologies director, Chris Cleator, not only won a $5000 prize on the night, but also went into the draw for a chance to win the Novell Partner Incentive Program’s $100,000 main prize.
