Eiselt resigns from Ingram Micro

Distributor loses its volume business unit head

After a year with Ingram Micro, Hanspeter Eiselt has resigned his position as the executive director and general manger of its volume and consumer business unit.

Eiselt took the role in April 2010, and has more than 20 years of industry knowledge on both sides of the vendor and distributor fence.

Prior to joining Ingram, he ran his own private consultancy business assisting emerging businesses with their international expansion plans.

He was previously the managing director for Autodesk across A/NZ, a role he held for two years. Before relocating to Australia three years ago, Eiselt spent three years in several leadership roles with Tech Data. Eiselt also held positions at Compaq Computers in the US and Germany as well as sales and marketing roles at Dell in the US from 1997- 2000.

Ingram Micro marketing director, Grant Cleary, confirmed Eiselt’s departure, but was unable to elaborate on a replacement at this time.

More to come.
