Peripherals vendor, Logitech, has rolled out its newest wireless mouse M325, energy efficient cooling pad N200 and Touch Lapdesk N600.
The M325 wireless mouse enables smoother scrolling and reduced on-screen motion choppiness with a precision scroll wheel with up to four times as many ratchets as a standard scroll wheel of 18 to 24 ratchets. It has a similar contoured shape to the Logitech wireless mouse M305.
The mouse can also move the user backward and forward through webpages when tilted to the left or right.
Logitech Australia director, George Saad, said, “It leverages a micro-ratchet, to make scrolling Facebook shopping on Amazon or reading an online newspaper easier.”
It also includes the Logitech advanced optical tracking, eliminating the need for a laptop trackpad, up to 18 months of battery life and a three year limited hardware warranty.
The wireless mouse is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.5 or later and Linux kernel 2.6.
The energy-efficient Logitech cooling pad N200 provides users with comfort wherever they use their laptops.
It features a virtually silent, tilted fan with a large grill, rear and side air intakes, two fan speeds and an off switch that adjusts airflow. Powered through USB, the fan is designed for low battery impact.
It is lightweight, slim, easy to tote around and its front lip prevents the laptop from slipping around.
“Laptops can overheat on uneven surfaces or without proper ventilation. They are the perfect accessory for anyone with a laptop,” Saad stated.
The Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600 makes browsing more comfortable by featuring a large touchpad that easily navigates through the Web.
It features a 5-inch, retractable touchpad with multi-touch navigation, enabling the pointer to be moved with one finger, scroll using two, and swipe through pages or pictures with three.
The multi-layer heat-shielding design of the lapdesk protects users from laptop heat and the anti-slip surface helps keep the laptop in place. Logitech’s newest lapdesk offers up to six months of battery life.
“We’ve seen people using everything from pillows to pets to shield their laps from the heat their laptops generate and with the addition of a multi-touch touchpad, there will be the added capability to more easily move through content without attaching additional peripherals,” Saad added.
All three products will be available from early August. The Logitech Cooling Pad N200 and wireless mouse M325 will cost RRP $59.95 while the Touch Lapdesk N600 will be priced at $99.95.
The cooling pad can be purchased from Big W, Dick Smith, JB Hi-Fi, Logitechshop, Myer and Officeworks while the wireless mouse is available from Australia Post, Big W, Bing Lee, Dick Smith, Myer, Officeworks, The Good Guys and WOW.
