Three executives leave SingTel

Retirement by rotation lightens the telco’s ranks

Optus and its parent company, SingTel, recently held its 19th Annual General Meeting and with it came the announcement of three retirements by rotation.

Tan Ng Kuang, Chumpol NaLamlieng and Graham John Bradley have retired from their positions at the telco as of the end of July.

Kuang held the position of director, chairman of the finance, investment and risk committee and was a member of the Optus advisory committee since March 2002, while NaLamlieng was the chairman of the board of Directors, chairman of the executive resource and compensation committee, and member of the corporate governance and nominations committee since August 2003.

Bradley was the director and member of the executive resource and compensation committee, as well as the Optus advisory committee, since March 2004.

In 2010, Singtel executives Messrs Heng Swee Keat, John Powell Morschel and Deepak S Parekh retired by rotation at the conclusion of the 18th Annual general meeting of SingTel.

Optus recently posted positive FY10 results during the SingTel Investor Day.
