Acer Australia's latest 15.6-inch notebook, the Aspire 5560, incorporates the 2011 Vision Technology from AMD.
According to the company, the notebook was designed to meet and exceed everyday tasks, the quality of media playback and viewing and editing experiences.
The notebook is available in two colour options, mesh black and mesh blue with textured finish on both the cover and palm-rest. The keyboard contains larger keys, a multi-gesture touchpad and a numeric keypad.
It features new high-performance AMD Fusion A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) and GPUs that reduce power consumption.
Acer Computer Australia product manager of retail notebook, Aaron Jambrovic, said, “To ensure a truly engaging entertainment experience, our latest Aspire 5560 lets you enjoy movies via the optional Blu-ray Disc drive, while Dolby Advanced Audio v2 offers an incredible sound. Just add an HDMI cable and you can connect to the latest high-definition systems for a true feast for the senses.”
It also comes with clear.fi, Acer’s new media sharing system, where users can seamlessly manage, share and enjoy all the multimedia files saved on clear.fi enabled devices.
Its other features include: a variety of optional AMD A Series processors and graphics options, a 16:9 aspect ratio, high-definition Acer CineCrystal LED backlit, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, large capacity hard disks of up to 750GB, optional Bluetooth 3.0+ and a Gigabit LAN.
The notebook also includes a multi-in-one card reader and a built-in Acer Crystal Eye high-definition 1.3MP webcam with built-in microphone.
The Acer Aspire 5560 is available from all Australian Acer distributors and resellers, priced from RRP $799.
