Built for bright environments, such as classrooms and medium-sized meeting rooms

Technology vendor, Panasonic Australia has launched the latest addition to its LB series LCD projector range, the PT-LB3.

Built for bright environments such as classrooms and medium-sized meeting rooms, the PT-LB3 features Panasonic’s Daylight View Basic function with 3200 lumens of brightness.

The new projector is native XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) for HD viewing, has 600:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 5000-hour lamp replacement cycle.

It hass a new Intelligent Power Management function that controls power supply, is lightweight and easy to transport.

Panasonic Australia product manager of FPD/Projector, Andrew Whiteman, said, “Many companies, particularly smaller businesses, are carefully watching spending and evaluating the TCO of their devices - with this in mind, the PT-LB3 features a more durable lamp unit to help maintain optimal lamp performance.”

The new series has an energy-saving and ergonomic design. In Eco Standby mode, power consumption is only 0.4 W and low noise level of 29-dB.

Other features include: an index window split screen, digital zoom, freeze function, two computer (RGB) inputs, real-time keystone correction, auto signal search, AV mute, wireless remote control, 17 language on screen menu and an optional micro cut filter.

The PT-LB3 is available from authorised Panasonic Business Systems dealers for $1259.

The company also recently hired a new product marketing manager.
