MiTek has deployed ShoreTel's unified communications (UC) solution across its three nationwide branches.
MiTek moved to the solution as its employees were unable to connect calls among customers and its three business offices. MiTek now uses an integrated voice and data system, which improves accessibility, network optimisation, customer service capabilities and overall productivity.
According to MiTek, upgrading to the vendor's all-in-one IP phone system with integrated UC and contact centre capabilities provided it with better workplace resources as it enabled the company to focus on core business operations and lower office communications costs.
MiTek IT manager, Daniel Heathershaw, said the ShoreTel solution had proven itself very quickly and employees were quick to adopt it.
“It is the best IT project rolled out by MiTek during the past 12 months,” he said.
The company also recently partnered with ASI Solutions for enterprise sector growth.
