Printer vendor, Fuji Xerox, has launched a new Managed Print Services (MPS) training program for channel partners.
Through Fuji Xerox Printers’ MPS program, PagePack, partners will receive guidance on sales tools and support on introducing new customers to managed print.
“This is a global initiative by Fuji Xerox focused on the mid-market and delivering MPS through channel partners,” Fuji Xerox Printers marketing and channel operations manager, Anthony Toope, said.
“It’s a program focused on the channel, so it’s an opportunity to recapture the mid-market in terms of MPS, and for resellers it’s a chance for them to fight back using tools backed by a major supplier in terms of going to market.”
Through technical hands-on training at the workshop, channel partners will be upskilled in the PagePack program, which will allow them to help customers reduce their total printing expenditure through centralised management of all devices in their fleet.
In addition to enabling channel partners to build a solid ongoing revenue stream via managed print relationships, the program will provide them with the necessary skills to help customers manage printing costs more efficiently using a cost-per-page managed print solution.
“This program supports channel partners in taking MPS to market, so they are representing themselves to the end customer and need to be responsive to their needs,” Toope said.
“Through this program, partners will be able to offer a highly efficient level of MPS to customer as long as they have the ability to add an additional layer of services for the end customers.”
The launch of the MPS training program also marks the upcoming roll out of Fuji Xerox Printers’ total training program to channel partners in the coming year.
Fuji Xerox recently introduced a new range of mid- to high-end colour office printers.
