New partner manager and managed services partner to strengthen presence in A/NZ channel

Technology performance vendor, Compuware, has made two senior appointments to its Sydney operation.

Gordon Vick has been named Compuware’s A/NZ partner manager and will be responsible for maintaining momentum in the partner channel.

Vick comes into the position after working at Foundry Networks as regional sales director Asia-Pacific. There he helped establish Foundry’s A/NZ operations. Previously, he also held the A/NZ country manager role at Arista Networks, where he oversaw the company’s launch in the A/NZ markets.

Compuware’s other appointment is Peter Martin, who takes up the A/NZ managed services partner position and will drive the recruitment of service providers in the A/NZ region.

Before coming to Compuware, Martin worked at CSG as NSW and ACT business development executive, at Hewlett-Packard as a software sales specialist, and at Concord Communications as regional manager for A/NZ.

“We are happy to welcome two successful sales and channel executives that bring to Compuware a strong track record of driving channel growth and expanding business opportunities,” Compuware Asia-Pacific senior vice president, Steve Jobson, said.

“We look forward to the positive impact that both Gordon and Peter will have on Compuware and our partners, who’ll be able to benefit from their deep channel and sales expertise.”

Compuware recently purchased application performance monitoring vendor, dynaTrace, to strengthen their Gomez platform.
