Regional reseller, Anittel (ASX: AYG), has been appointed to the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) supply panel.
Annitel was selected for the panel based on its competencies in managed service solutions and network administration.
Through the partnership, Anittel will provide computer hardware and ICT services, as well as IT support services, for local government systems.
“We now have a dedicated account manager for local governments in Western Australia and we certainly expect to expand head count there both in sales and technical service delivery as a result of this contract,” Anittel marketing director, Mark Ilott, said.
“We will be able to offer to the panel both our project professional services and fully managed IT services, as well as hardware and software service.”
The reseller is already securing sales from the panel appointment including a contract to provide IT support and maintenance for the Shire of Toodyay.
The deal is expected to strengthen Anittel’s existing relationship with WALGA and local governments Australia-wide.
The panel appointment is one of the more recent strategic business manoeuvres carried out by the reseller following a shake-up in its leadership structure earlier in the year.
Anittel was trading at $0.007 at the time of publication.
