Virtual compliance, security and auditing vendor, VMinformer, has added four resellers to its Australian partner channel.

According to VMinformer, the companies were specifically appointed for their capacity to embrace new technologies and deploy security protection end user organisations have come to expect.

Company founder and chief technology officer, John Reeman, said, “These partnerships are indicative of our commitment towards optimising the security framework for government and private sector virtualised environments.”

By partnering with VMinformer, IPSec aims to provide the Australian private and public sectors with a solution that enhances network security and ensures optimum network uptime.

IPSec sales director, David McDonald, said, “Today's security infrastructure requires a solution that provides security enforcement from the core to the edge of the network, both in the physical and virtual environments.”

CommsNet Group will assist VMinformer in bolstering its growth in the Federal and ACT government market by deploying skills in assessment and project management deployment.

Tru Information Security Management’s partnership with the company will allow its clients access to VMinformer’s range of virtualised and cloud security solutions.

Tru Information's managing director, Simon Coffey, said, "Virtualisation presents unique security challenges and our customers are increasingly aware that they need to review their security policies to address these issues.”

According to Shearwater Solutions general manager, Raymond Kantor, infrastructure managers are trying to virtualise anything and everything in the datacentre and the problem lies with the insecurity of the hypervisor and the difficulty to control hardening guide standards.

As such, VMinformer provides it and all companies with PCI compliance requirements with a method to prove information security is compliant with best practices.

VMinformer also recently launched a promotion for VMware professionals.
