World of Warcraft coming to iPad, iPhone

WOW designers have said that an iPad and iPhone app is something they're interested in

The popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft could be coming to the iPhone and iPad.

The Gadget Show has reported that Greg Street, one of the key designers of World of Warcraft, has said the game's developers are "huge fans" of the iPhone and iPad.

"If we could make the right game changes to make that work, it's something we'd be interested in." Street added.

Street, also known as Ghostcrawler, stated: "It's not something you're going to see in the next week or two, but it's the kind of thing we're always looking at".

A commenter on The Gadget Show's report said, "I can see this working well on the iPad, but not so much on the iPhone. I think everything would be way too small."
