Australian and New Zealand resellers will now be able to deploy AccessData’s software solutions and digital investigation services following a new partnership with local technology distribution and channel services provider, Distribution Central (DC).
The deal will allow Firewall Systems, DC’s specialist security solutions business unit, to distribute security frameworks such as Cyber Intelligence and Response Technology (CIRT) to enable businesses to monitor security threats and data leakage though network and host forensics.
“AccessData delivers digital investigation solutions and computer forensics technology that are suitable for any enterprise,” DC managing director, Nick Verykios, said.
“Since their tools are the most popular with government agencies and corporations that need to meet high level compliance requirements, such as financial and insurance institutions, it’s a natural fit for our portfolio.”
With AccessData, companies will have the ability to not only identify security breaches, but also provide administrators with the means to carry out detailed investigations to discover how the event took place from a network activity perspective.
The in-depth forensics tools are capable of showing what network activity is associated with a user, a unique feature which is expected to help AccessData stand out from other competitors on the market.
To ensure that its clients get the highest level of security and benefits from AccessData, DC provides support and training through its Red Education services business unit, which is AccessData’s authorised training centre for the Asia-Pacific region.
“Our training and education programs, together with pre-sales technical support and post-sales field support, will ensure that many of our partners will be able to help protect the security of their customers’ valuable information,” Verykios said.
