Yuile to take over from Broad as AAPT CEO

Outgoing CEO to pass the baton to the company's network and technology general manager

AAPT network and technology general manager, David Yuile, has been knighted as the company’s new CEO.

Outgoing AAPT CEO, Paul Broad, will finish his tenure on July 1.

Yuile joined PowerTel, a fully-owned subsidiary of Telecom NZ, in 2005 and was transferred over to AAPT when the company acquired the telco in 2007. He has been AAPT’s network and technology general manager since 2008 and leads a team of 600 staff.

According to Telecom NZ CEO, Paul Reynolds, Yuile’s experience in the Australian telco industry and the AAPT business makes him perfect for the new role.

He also lauded Broad for his efforts in running AAPT.

Yuile will be reporting to Reynolds.
