Southern Cross adds cloud-based application to solution line-up

PaperAct Electronic Filing Cabinet (EFC) allows users to view documents online through any PC or mobile device such as the iPad

Victoria –based system integrator, Southern Cross Computer Systems, has become a Platinum Partner for cloud-based application PaperAct Electronic Filing Cabinet (EFC).

It stores and organises documents electronically for online retrieval and allows users to view documents via any PC or device running a web browser. This includes tablets, the Apple iPad and iPhone, along with other mobile devices that can support Android, WebOS or Windows operating systems.

PaperAct can access paper based documents, electronic documents or emails with attachments (eg Word, Excel, PDFs, jpgs).

Southern Cross managing director, Mark Kalmus, said the addition of PaperAct EFC, complements its solutions offering within its Business Solutions Group, which also supplies Trade Waste Water solution and Venue and Stadium solutions.

“Southern Cross sees this as a strategic part of its portfolio in the fast growing workgroup and end user productivity revolution; using new tablets and mobile devices to access information any time from any location,” Kalmus said.
