Technology and services giant, HP, has announced its latest IT Performance Suite.
HP claims the suite will acquire and determine IT performance with a comprehensive, consolidated analysis into a company’s technology environment.
It aims to operationalise, measure and improve IT performance across instant-on enterprises.
The HP IT Performance Suite CIO Edition enables CIOs to manage and enhance application development, infrastructure and operations organisation, security, information management, financial planning and administration.
The CIO Edition Standard is HP IT Performance Suite’s first persona-oriented solution and incorporates industry standards such as the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
It contains the new HP Executive Scorecard, which computerises data collection and analysis from the incorporated modules into a combined IT data model.
It is structured on an open data framework to allow other third party data sources to deliver a single dashboard view of IT metrics.
Other modules include: financial planning and analysis, project and portfolio management, and asset manager.
Many of the IT Performance Suite solutions are available as a service.
HP South-Pacific general manager of software, Richard Outten, said, “Every CIO needs to do two things: constantly shift resources to support changing enterprise priorities and clearly demonstrate return on IT investment.”
