Melbourne-based DonorTec has partnered with Calxa Australia to supply $1 million worth of budgeting software to non-for-profit organisations nationally.
Through the alliance with DonorTec, Calxa will supply its Premier product, worth $1495 each, free of charge to smaller not-for-profit organisations.
The software allows organisations to tailor reports, update data and manage complex budgets. Integrating directly with their accounting data, it provides accuracy and data integrity.
Calxa CEO, Mick Devine, said not-for-profits need to spend more of their resources on service delivery and less on administration.
“This is our way of helping them achieve this goal while still providing the reporting needed to achieve good governance,” Devine said.
Not-for-profit organisations played a vital role in the community but were often hampered by a lack of funding for technology upgrades, Devine said.
DonorTec has been donating products from vendors such as Microsoft and Symantec for a number of years.
