As part of its new executive line-up, Software vendor, Attachmate, has promoted Boris Ivancic as vice-president and general manager of Asia-Pacific.
He will be responsible for driving and developing market opportunities for Attachmate, NetIQ, Novell and SUSE across Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Japan and Singapore.
Ivancic has been with Attachmate since 1999 and was previously general manager for Asia-Pacific.
The new global executive leadership team consists of Jay Gardner as NetIQ president and general manager; Novell and Attachmate president and general manager, Bob Flynn, and SUSE president and general manager, Nils Brauckmann.

“Boris Ivancic has been an integral part of delivering this across Asia-Pacific for many years now and I am confident that he and his talented team will continue to drive the highest quality technology, products, support and services our customers have come to expect.”
Attachmate acquired Novell in April for $2.2 billion.
