Series delivers wireless projection from iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

Technology vendor, Panasonic Australia , introduced a new range of LCD projectors that can project data wirelessly from an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

According to company product manager – FPD/projector, business systems group, Andrew Whiteman, the PT-FW430 and PT-FX400 projectors are suitable for SMBs and smaller university lecture rooms.

iPad, iPhone or iPod users can use it by downloading the free Panasonic Wireless Projector for iOS application from the App Store, which enables wireless projection from their devices.

The application allows users to run presentations in PDF and JPEG formats using only the wireless projector and their iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

Users can exploit several touch screen operations – such as rotating the direction of the screen, flicking to turn pages, and pinching to zoom in or out.

Amongst other features, the series contains features including: detail clarity processor 3, daylight view premium, a dust-resistant design, an extended 6000-hour lamp replacement cycle and eco performance – with the eco filter, eco management function and standby mode: eco.

The company aims to offer enhanced brightness, minimal maintenance and high-performance with the PT-FW430 series.

The models are available at $3499 RRP from authorised Panasonic business systems dealers and more information can be obtained from the company’s local website.
