Legend tops up profit forecast

The components manufacturer and distributor is expecting to reach $7.6 million to $7.9 million in net profit

IT components manufacturer and distributor, Legend Corporation, is expecting a net profit increase of about $7.6 million to $7.9 million for the financial year ending June 30.

This is an improvement of 15 per cent on the $6.6 million recorded for the previous corresponding period for the ASX-listed company (ASX:LGD).

In a statement, Legend CEO, Bradley Dowe, said the forecast range reflected its ability to deliver improved profit through its focus on delivering a range of products and customer service.

In August last year, Dowe flagged it was on the acquisition trail after posting positive 2010 financial year results and reducing its net debt, wiping off $11.6 million and bringing it down to $8.1 million.
