Printer vendor, Fuji Xerox, has introduced a new range of mid- to high-end colour office printers.
They include: the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C305 series, a self-scanning light-emitting device (S-LED) printer – Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C5005d, and the Fuji Xerox ColorQube 8570 and 8870, which utilise ‘colour by words’ colour-matching technology where users select from a menu of words, such as ‘red apple’, ‘blue sky’ or ‘green grass’ to fine tune the colours desired.
Fuji Xerox Printers A/NZ general manager, David Borg, said, “The managed print services and colour printer markets are two of the fastest growing segments and these areas present enormous potential for our channel partners to enhance their revenue streams.”
Borg said the company believed in supporting its channel partners to maximise growth and the growth Fuji Xerox experienced in the last year was a direct result of channel partner efforts.
“We are seeing many print vendors move away from the channel and sell direct to market; our strategic direction remains focused on our channel partners,” Borg said.
The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint range is available in Asia-Pacific (products named differently in other countries) at prices starting from $599 for the CP305 series and $6045 for the C5005 d.
The ColorQube range is available at a starting price of $2199.
Borg said Fuji Xerox is embarking on acquiring partners in the software space and will be releasing more products.
