Optus woos SMBs with new fixed, mobile and broadband plans

New plans suitable for businesses with more than 20 employees.

Optus has introduced a range of fixed-line, mobile phone and broadband plans catering to SMBs with more than 20 employees.

Optus One Office gives offices with more than 10 phone lines unlimited standard national calls to fixed-lines and mobiles. Optus Business Timeless Fleet allows for SMBs with more than 20 mobile users to unlimited standard national calls, SMS, voicemail and social networking across the team.

“While SMBs are embracing mobile devices with 63 per cent using smartphones, 87 per cent rely on fixed phone lines for their day-to-day business,” Optus SMB marketing director, Phil Offer, said in a statement. He was quoting figures from an Optus commissioned survey of more than 400 SMBs in Australia.

As for the Business Class Mobile Broadband plans, it allows for businesses to share data allowance across all users. Optus charges $5 for every additional users in the fleet. Plans start at $24.95 with 2GB for a bring-your-own modem option.
