IP, wireless and network security distributor, Wavelink, has become the local distributor for intelligent networks provider, Nomadix.

Wavelink managing director, Ilan Rubin, said the addition of Nomadix complemented its wireless LAN offerings.

The Nomadix Service Engine (NSE) helps address key issues of customer acquisition, provisioning, security and revenue generation when deploying Wi-Fi public access networks and there is no configuration required for users accessing the network.

The vendor also offers a full range of access gateways running the NSE software, from the smallest single cell hotspot to a large multi-cell location supporting thousands of users.

“Wavelink provides complementary technologies and expertise to formulate a complete solution alongside Nomadix, which can address areas such as Wi-Fi offload for cellular networks and converged use of networks in public venues,” Nomadix chief commercial and operating officer, Fred Reeder, said in a statement.
