The telco's IPTV service will be available in the second half of 2011.

Optus will be launching an IPTV service through a partnership with FetchTV.

The drawcard will be its integrated mobile functionality making it compatible for smartphones and tablets.

According to Optus, the IPTV service will be available in the second half of the year. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.

The FetchTV service is already available through Internode, iiNet and its subsidiary, Westnet.

South Australia-based ISP, Adam Internet announced it was going to trial the service late last year.
