Open source console service provider, Opengear has partnered with information asset protection provider, IPSec.
Opengear’s solution will enable IPSec to provide its managed security service clients with management and monitoring tools, which is redundant to primary mechanism failure.
IPSec director of operations, Benjamin Robson, said it uses Opengear’s capabilities throughout A/NZ, deploying the equipment within an office server room or datacentre environment.
“As part of assuring a quality 24x7 managed security service is provided to our clients, it is important to maintain contingencies for all operational scenarios that may impact the effective and timely response to security events,” Robson said.
IPSec provides of services and solutions based on technology partnerships with vendors including Juniper, Checkpoint, Watchguard, F5, McAfee and Ironport.
Opengear business development manager, Dr Brendan Baker, said customers should have the ability to remotely access, manage and control their mission critical information assets and network infrastructure.
