Network security vendor, WatchGuard Technologies, has introduced new training support for their A/NZ channel programs.
The company will offer A/NZ qualified partners and resellers an extensive range of training and certification training courses, free of charge.
“We know that resellers already invest considerable man hours to attend certified training so the idea of also getting hit with additional costs can be prohibitive. We’ve listened to this feedback and will be offering courses at no cost to qualified resellers,” WatchGuard Technologies vice-president of channels and alliances (Asia-Pacific), Scott Robertson, said.
The courses are structured to aid partners in installing, configuring and managing its products.
WatchGuard will stage a webinar series in late May to train and support resellers in understanding how to sell its latest product and feature enhancements such as application control, data leakage prevention and email encryption.
It also launched a sales incentive, the Elite 2011 mystery destination competition, which follows the success of last year’s contest.
Competition qualification categories have been expanded for more organisations to enter.
The company’s A/NZ partner and reseller winners will be based on sales growth and performance between July 2010 and September 2011.
Robertson said, “All up, our aim is to work with our partners so that they can be even more successful in the year ahead.”
The company recently released the latest enhancements to its XTM operating system and engaged five new partners to its reseller portfolio.
