BigAir lifts earnings guidance

Increases earnings before tax guidance 30 per cent to $5.2 million

ASX-listed fixed wireless provider, BigAir Group, increased its earnings before tax guidance by 30 per cent to $5.2 million.

The previous guidance figure was $4 million, which was a 63 per cent increase on the previous period.

Consolidated revenues reached $1.9 million at the end of March, with $1.4 million coming from the fixed wireless division and $0.5 million from the Student Accommodation unit.

It also achieved consolidated gross profit exceeded $1.25 million for March.

The company’s restructuring and integration of acquired businesses is also on target, BigAir said in a statement to the ASX.

Deal and restructure related expenses are expected to amount to $560,000 for the 2011 financial year.

In December, Clever Communications accepted a takeover proposal by BigAir. A month later, it announced the acquisition of AccessPlus.

BigAir was trading at $0.19 at the time of publication.
