GoConnect launches free app for Windows Phone 7

Becomes one of the first companies in the world to launch an IPTV application on the platform

Independent music and digital media company, GoConnect, has launched its first free downloadable application on Windows Phone 7.

GoConnect’s IPTV network has been expanding since July 2010 when its uctv.fm music IPTV channel went live on the Sony Bravia Internet Video Service.

The network has since added Web TV on www.uctv.fm, and a mobile version of uctv.fm on many smartphone brands.

Uctv.fm has nearly 600 programs produced by GoConnect.

The uctv.fm app will be available from the Windows 7 app store, MarketPlace, in the near future.

Executive chairman of GoConnect, Richard Li, said it was one of the first companies in the world to launch an IPTV application on the Windows Phone 7 platform.

Development specialist, Readify, was a major player in the apps’ creation.
